The Wymondham Chess Club, with its longstanding presence spanning over six decades, is recognised as a key cultural and social asset to South Norfolk. Our club, which meets most Friday evenings at the Feathers Pub, actively participates in regional chess competitions and is committed to fostering the game across generations. We offer a space where the members can come together to enjoy and play chess.
The Wymondham Chess Club are proud to have three teams: the Eagles in the Second Division, the Owls in the Third Division, and the Wrens in the Fourth Division of the Norfolk Chess League.
Our Junior session takes place from 17:30 to 19:00, and the Senior gatherings start from 19:30 on most Fridays. The meetings are held at the Feathers Public House in Wymondham, with convenient parking available at the rear. The sessions are conducted in the upstairs room, above the main bar.
